Merrick is a Senior at the University of Arkansas in the CSCE department. He has completed Database Management Systems, Programming Paradigms, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, Mobile Programming and Data Mining classes. Previous work experience includes a software internship with the Cerner in Kansas City, working on the development of fruit budgets for Arkansas berry farmers, and has accepted a software engineering position with J.B. Hunt for after graduation.
