Description:

There aren’t many good programs that allow users to code together in real time. The goal of our project is to make an application that provides a good all-around solution to collaborative programming. It will utilize a peer-to-peer structure where whoever starts the session will act as the server, and a custom command framework to queue and resolve edits. We plan on basing our application in Python (specifically PyPy), and connecting the peers to each other through sockets. When our project is finished, it will allow users to easily and effectively work with each other in real time as well as utilize synchronized terminals.
