Matthew Brooke is a senior Computer Science major at the University of Arkansas. Throughout his time at the University of Arkansas, he has continued to refine his skillset as a programmer. Key courses he has taken at the University include Programming Paradigms, Software Engineering, Database Management Systems, and Algorithms. Outside of course work, he has been working as a software engineer intern for the Tesseract Center for Immersive Environments and Game Design, where he has taken on a large variety of tasks from UI implementation, network applications with Node.js, AI scripting, and developing a series of backend tools to streamline development for other designers.

Brooke has been programming for nearly seven years and has experience with a wide range of languages and topics, such as web development with HTML and JavaScript, scripting with Python, game development with C#, and many hours studying and using Java and C++.

Outside of Computer Science, Brooke has a large interest in music. His exploration of music includes taking up a few different instruments, primarily guitar and drums, as well as writing and recording original works and re-compositions of some of his favorite tracks.
