Z. Gunner Lawless

Gunner is a senior Computer Science and Computer Engineering double major at the University of Arkansas. Some of his hobbies include going to razorback sporting events, being outdoors hunting, and playing sports. Gunner’s technical interests primarily reside in the realm of cybersecurity. He has a strong passion for offensive security and is constantly trying to learn new information about security and hacking.

This year will be Gunner’s first year to be on the NASA RMC team. His previous experience researching vulnerabilities in deep neural networks has given him knowledge about machine learning that will be used when implementing robot control automation with the use of computer vision. Additionally, Gunner’s experience with embedded systems will be useful when building the robot’s core functionalities with ROS2.
