Born is a senior Computer Science major in the Computer Science and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas. She has completed all of the expected core courses for a Capstone I senior with the exception of Operating Systems. She has completed the following relevant courses: Database Management Systems, Software Engineering. She was a Global Technology and Operations intern for Bank of America this past summer and will continue to work full time for Bank of America as a Global Technology Analyst after graduation in May of 2022. During her internship, she worked with the Distributed Job Scheduling Team to develop a self service portal that simplifies and consolidates audit information from two different interfaces for clients to view. She utilized Python scripts to parse audit files daily and insert the audit file data to a database she created. During this project, she will be dealing with accessing student’s data through a database.
