Team 17- NASA Lunabotics- Robotics Mining Competition

Team Members:

James Hand

Description:

The NASA Lunabotics Mining Competition is a competition put on by NASA every year. The goal of the competition is to excavate and  retrieve a certain amount of gravel from underneath a layer of BP1, a stimulant of the lunar surface. The secondary goal of the project is to create a fully autonomous system to drive this robot. This secondary goal is the subject of my project as I work on the autonomy team, using computer vision and sensing to automate the robot.
